Den Meeting ~ August 29, 2010

Our first den meeting was this afternoon.  We worked on our Bobcat badge and are half way there already!  We finished #4, 5, 6, and 7.  Homework is #8.  We also worked on our Softball belt loop.

Soap Box Derby ~ August 22, 2010

Den 6 does it again!  The Den 6 car was awarded "Judge's Favorite" in the design category.  Alec also placed first in the Tiger division and first overall.  Congratulations!

Soap Box Derby

The 2010 Soap Box Derby will be here before we know it!  It will be held during the Parkersburg Homecoming on Sunday, August 22.  If you have not registered and would like to participate, please contact Larry asap.

Summer Activities Update

Don't forget our pool party tonight!  We will be swimming at Jackson pool from 7:00 until 9:00.  Each family is asked to bring a two-liter of soda to share.  Everyone is also asked to bring at least one canned food item per person.  Family and friends are all invited to swim.

Our bike hike is scheduled for Sunday, August 15.  We will meet at Wayside United Methodist Church at 12:30 p.m. and travel together to the Hocking Bikeway.  Please let us know if you need someone to transport your bicycles.

The Soap Box Derby will be held on Market Street during the Parkersburg Homecoming on Sunday, August 22.

Our first den meeting will be held on Sunday, August 29, at 3:30 p.m. in the scout room at Wayside United Methodist Church.

Other upcoming activities include:
- recruiting and annual bonfire in September;
- popcorn sales in October; and
- Fall Camp on October 8, 9, and 10.
